Party Like its 1599: Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire - Manheim, PA

2011 season ends October 30!

Sit in the court of Queen Elizabeth I, and enjoy a tankard o' ale while her knights joust for your entertainment.  The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire runs from mid summer through autumn every year on the 35 acre estate of Mount Hope Winery in Manheim, Pa.

The fair is set within a recreation of a 16th century English village, with dozens of authentic tudor buildings.  Stroll down the numerous streets among the booths of vendors and craftsmen selling clothing, jewelry, leather goods, and souvenirs to commemorate your visit to the Queen's village.  Colorfully costumed musicians and magicians will entertain you with 90 shows each day on the village's 12 stages.

Both period and modern food is available from the village's 23 kitchens, and micro-brewed beer flows generously at the numerous pubs.  Being hosted for 31 years by a winery, it only makes sense that the Renaissance Faire offers free samples of a mind-boggling array of wines available for purchase by the glass at any time, or by the bottle on your way out of the village.

See the Pa Renaissance Faire website for schedule, directions, & discount offers.
